The film ‘The pregnancy is ours’ currently being screened in ten rural communities in Mozambique.

A group of young men participated in a workshop about gender norms organized by HOPEM and shared their experiences about becoming a parent during the project. The outcome was a 30 min. participatory action film about fatherhood. After the film was shown at several conferences and events, the film is now disseminated in Manhica and Marracuene district, in ten rural communities in Mozambique. The film is shown in public spaces, followed by  debates about fatherhood. These dissemination events are supported by the French Embassy in Mozambique and implemented by HOPEM.
